How to Migrate Your Adobe Creative Cloud Account After Leaving the University of Utah

Updated on

If you're a student leaving the University of Utah, you may need to transfer your Adobe Creative Cloud account to a personal or new educational email address. Follow the steps below to ensure a smooth migration process. For more details into this process, visit Adobe's Help Page.

Student File Transfer actually copies the files selected for transfer and then moves the copies into your personal account. You will still be able to initiate additional transfers as long as you have access to your school account.

Go to https://graduation.adobe.com/ and select "Get Started" to begin the migration process.

2. Consider storage needs

Consider the amount of storage you are currently using. You may need to pay for additional services to transfer all data to your new account. You can either [1] upgrade your account or [2] remove some files to be within the 5GB of storage limitation.

3. Log into your school account

  1. Select Sign in
  2. Input your [email protected] email address when prompted. Input your Duo or SSO login for the University of Utah.

4. Sign in to your personal account or create one

Select to either sign in to your personal account or sign up to create a new account.

5. Select Transfer

Congratulations! You've successfully migrated your Adobe Creative Cloud account from your University of Utah email address to your new email address. You can now continue using Adobe Creative Cloud without interruption.

If you have Adobe applications installed on university computers, make sure to sign out of your Adobe account on those devices.

Warning: Take note of certain content that will not automatically be migrated, and you may need to manually migrate them.
